Studies have shown that social isolation can lead to increased risks of depression, cognitive decline, and even physical health issues. At Bluebird Care, the belief is that everyone deserves companionship, conversation, and a sense of belonging, regardless of age or circumstances.
The Coffee Afternoons Initiative
These monthly gatherings provide a relaxed, welcoming space for older members of the community to enjoy a hot drink, meet new people, and engage in friendly conversation. Held every second Tuesday of the month from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, the events are open to all and specifically designed to reach those who may otherwise feel disconnected or alone.
